I would check every electrical connection on those skinny little wires related to the install and not assume the FiTech unit or any other parts have failed just yet. WebMay 17, 2016 · Simply shut the vehicle off and turn the idle adjustment screw in about a half turn to start with, then turn the key on and check TPS and make sure it reads zero. Once thats done start the vehicle and wait for the IAC steps to zero, after they go to zero slowly turn the adjustment screw counter-clockwise until the number reads between 3-10 steady. WebIf the fuel pump stays on with key on, then probably the ignition switch is shorted and is feeding the power supply to the fuel pump even the car is off. Put the key in the ignition switch and shake it a bit and see if the fuel pump shuts off. Often if there is an internal short and the fuel pump would constantly prime and won’t shut off.
