I'd been doing some research into FightLite's (formerly Ares) SCR platform and came to the unfortunate discovery that their rifle platform had been discontinued. The problem is, they still sell their SCR pistol, but given the nature of our gun laws here ... WebIt's a little more grey than a true stripped receiver since SCR lowers ship with a bolt, trigger, etc, but theoretically one could still turn an SCR lower into a bolt-action upper. Fightlite might be willing to ship the bolt/parts separate from the lower, or the FFL might be willing to remove those pieces before the transfer.
