Epifanes taught me that the best way to store those expensive badger-hair brushes is to leave them suspended in diesel fuel or kerosene.
WebJun 19, 2003 · For what it's worth I now use Epifanes Clear Wood Finish for the first 2-5 buildup coats followed by Epifanes Varnish for the 2-3 top coats. Each coat is sanded or scuffed enough to remove bugs, dust, etc and every 2-3 coats are sanded/scraped enough to become smooth. Bottom line is use whatever products or procedures works for you.

I ran into it a couple times before the light went on, epi just wont cure over epoxy unless the epoxy has been well, well cured: weeks.
